War only when needed!!!!

As my way of thinking in a philosophical way, I believe that war should only take place when needed. War is a very serious action. It is not the solution for problems. Even though war exists between people, it also exists between countries, which is the most common we see. But any kind of wars has its rules, obviously established by me. The first one consists on that the war must be started and controlled by the authority of state or ruler. This means that for a war to be just, only the head of the nation can start it. It rules out civil war and rebellion. The second rule is that there must be a just cause. Meaning that war may not take place just because countries want to, there needs to be a cause or a good reason for it. This also means that anyone and everyone being fought against must truly deserve it. A just cause would not include revenge or pride, but it would include protection, self-defense and prevention of a worse evil. The third rule established for war consists that the war must be for good, or against evil. Law and order must always be restored. This means that no one should ever find themselves on the side of evil for any reason, whatever the politics involved. It also means that there is a duty to return to a life of normality after the war is over. These are three rules that are essential for those countries that like to have wars between them. Somehow, these will make countries think twice what they want to do, ether go to war or not.

  1. I disagree with your point of view, even if war seems like the las resort to solve a conflict, one must always remember that sacrificing many human lives because of a conflict is a cruel injustice, the youth must not pay because of political conflicts.

  2. I disagree. I think that war should always be present when needed and with much more importance when it is in defence of the state!
