Ending life when terminally ill is the right choice.

That humans have the right to end their lives when terminally ill is something I agree with. In my opinion, the only thing that gives an action moral worth is not what is achieved by it, but the moral behind it. If you think about it, people who are terminally ill also affect and injure other people, like their loved ones. Some people who are terminally ill might also suffer too much and not enjoy life how life should be. In other words, they live a life not worth living. Regardless if someone is religious or not, death would bring end to all types of pain. That is the only thing we know for sure. We have to use reason when allowing someone to end his or her life. When we reason enough and conclude that the only moral thing left to do is to allow death to come and take him or her away is when we have reached a good moral decision. For example, let’s say John has cancer and doctors expect him to die in one year. The problem is that John suffers great insufferable pain every day. His family would not be against him taking his life, nor would he. Actually, he would love to finally die and end the suffering. We, as humans, have a fantastic ability to reason. If we use our reason in this case, we conclude that it is morally the best choice to allow John to die and allow him to ease away from pain and suffering. Humans do have the right to end their lives if terminally ill because once you reason, you will find out that it is the best moral thing to do.

  1. This is a very difficult thing to understand and even more to do. Ending a life lives when terminally ill is something that has a moral background, and is done more to help than to affect in a bad way a person. I terminally agree in such thing but only and only if it is the last choice and there are no other exits.
