Lass uns kämpfen!!! Let there be war!!!

War has always existed since the beginning of mankind. Wars have influenced in a huge way the path humanity has taken. Whether war is ethical or not is often discussed. I personally believe that war is ethical as long it is ion service to the state. When the state is in trouble and needs men to fight in name of the state, people should have the moral responsibility to accept such tasks and join the armed forces. You never know how your contribution to the armed forces can positively influence the state. The state is the entity with all the power over your people and represents what you and all your family are. It should be an honor to represent it and even to die for it. When it comes to ethics in war, I believe that the killing of women and children should be strictly forbidden as it represents a great injustice regardless of the circumstances the war is on. Other ethics I think should be taken seriously in war include the prohibition of attacking the injured and members of the enemy armed forces who are defenseless and severely wounded. I myself was a soldier of the Athenian Army and served with great honor and followed the duty every person has to his personal state. Although I personally was not exactly injured, I believe that dying for the state deserves respect and is something everyone should be willing to do in case of call of duty to fight. War is something I definitely consider ethical as long it is in defense of the state.
