On a sad cloudy day, I walked down the hospital aisles. In some rooms there was happiness of the recovery of their loved ones in others there was sadness of those who they lost. There were other very interested rooms though, were the patient was saying goodbye to his loved ones and then he would fall into an eternal sleep. The doctors then would say to the grieving family that it was for the best, no one would suffer anymore. I couldn’t understand what was happening, was that patient being voluntary killed? My hypothesis was indeed correct. It was called Euthanasia, when a patient voluntarily wants to end life because of a terminal illness. I was not taken aback for the patient’s decision to end his life, he was suffering too much. I believe that every human has free will but in order for us to experience it the right way, we must understand necessity. The patient was suffering, he was almost moribund, and he needed to die. Therefore he decided by his free will to end his life. Liberty and Necessity are compatible and every agent or individual has those qualities in them. I support the patient’s action, when one comes in a point in life where it is too hard to continue and you have a reason to end it; then do it. It is not fair to keep on suffering and is not fair for relatives, family and friends to vicariously live the same way as the patient. On that sad cloudy day, I did agree with Euthanasia to be performed.

I agree with Claudeth. People that faces terminal desease such as cancer, people that know that within two months they will die and at the moment are suffering, have the personal right to end it all. People who are against euthanasia claim that it is wrong, however, do they know the suffering many people face? I am most certain that if this people had a terminal desease, they would want to end their life.this is all about suffering, being in these conditions can affect them mentally because society always applies negative pressure on individuals.
