Humans have the right to end their lives if terminally ill. There is no force of destiny; nothing can affect your being. You create your own destiny, your own values and you have the right and freedom but yet you have the responsibility to create your boundaries and limitations. Everybody has the right to create their own destiny; you have the freedom to believe in whatever you want. If you are terminally ill, the right thing to do is to sit down and meditate in what you really want. Would it be ethical to end your life if you know you are extremely ill but yet there is a possibility to survive? Or, would it be ethical to stay alive and live with a little suffering? It´s all about your decision, you are creating your own destiny, you cannot be affected from the surroundings including family or friends. Every human being has a fundamental right to make decisions involving their own body, including the right to decide that they no longer wish to endure the pain and suffering of a terminal illness and decide to end their life. If there are any fundamental rights, they certainly must include the decision of when and if a person has decided the quality of their life is no longer worth continuing and wishes to end their own human experience. There is certainly no right to die but a fundamental right to live with as little suffering as possible while facing the undeniable death. Life isn’t just about breathing; it’s about living. Decide for yourself, don´t let destiny control you, you are responsible to create for your own destiny.
